What a Difference A Year Makes!

One year ago yesterday, this beautiful, wonderful little boy came into our lives and made his home in our hearts forever.

He came into our lives and hearts and eventually formed a wonderful relationship with his new sister - a better relationship than she or we would have ever imagined.
One year ago yesterday, this daddy held his son, a son I believe he had very much longed for, for the very first time.
One year ago yesterday, this mother fell more in love with her new son than she ever thought possible.

Many other little girls and one other little boy besides Liam, joined their new forever families.
This is a red couch photo for our very large travel group.
This past Sunday, we had a reunion with the folks in our travel group who live in the Boston area. What a difference a year makes! Many of the girls were malnourished and developmentally delayed and now look at all the healthy, happy chubby toddler girls in this group!
And look at this happy, healthy little boy!!!
Our son, Liam Cameron Shuli Brown!

Only a year? I could swear that Liam has been your son forever. It's incredible how he took his place in your family so easily, filling that empty spot at the table and in your hearts. Lots of love to you all!

Amazing, is all I can say. Instant parenthood. What luck he and you have had in finding and being found.
So much love for a little boy, no wonder he cried when he thought, albeit for an instant, that he was going back to China. Be as gentle with him always as you are now. Love, LaLa
